Editor’s Note ✍️
Hi, hope you’re well :)
This has been a whirlwind of a week for Indian polity, especially with the special session of Parliament ongoing and the passage of the women’s reservation bill last evening. However, the devil here lies in the details with many experts stating that owing to constituency delimitation requirements - a 33% reservation for women in the Parliament as well as state assemblies is atleast a decade away, if not more. What’re your views on such a bill and caveats it comes with? Do comment here or reply to this email to share with us!
