The Indian School of Business (ISB) has collaborated with the Government of
Punjab to launch the Punjab Good Governance Fellowship Programme! In this 2-year long programme, a pool of around 50 talented, passionate young professionals between the ages of 23-35 will be hired. The District Development Fellows will be placed in the 23 districts and 6 municipal corporations, and the Governance Fellows will be placed in ~20 departments of the Government of Punjab. ISB's world-renowned faculty will act as advisors for this programme. This collaboration is at the heart of ISB's mission to contribute to the welfare and development of the community at the local, national, and global levels.
Why 🔎
The Fellowship will give individuals an opportunity to work closely with the State Government and Policymakers to bring about social impact while providing them with training and exposure.
Where this program is unique is in it’s focus on academic rigour and learning opportunities. You get to connect to a broad network of development institutions and actors and learn from the capacity development exercises facilitated by ISB.
The individuals join as fellows will get an opportunity to pursue a certificate programme in “Understanding Public Policy in India” by ISB Executive Education. Contingent on completing the course, you get a certificate for the same.

Fellows will get the unique opportunity to:
Undergo recurring capacity development sessions at ISB's Mohali Campus during a week-long induction and subsequent quarterly forums on themes including Programme Evaluation, Public Administration and Management, and Data-Driven Decision Making.
Pursue the Understanding Public Policy in India Programme, a certificate programme by ISB Executive Education.
Earn INR ₹8,00,000 while learning by directly reporting to senior government officers and creating meaningful social impact by positively influencing policy-making and implementation.
