🗞️What’s In The News This Week?
The HSBC Flash India Composite PMI Output Index rose to 56.5 in September, from 54.3 in August, led by a stronger performance in manufacturing. The economy has been expanding for 62 consecutive months now (a PMI of 50+ signals economic expansion).
Speaking of economic expansion, the Odisha government has approved 27 industrial projects worth over Rs 2.45 lakh crore. The proposed projects would come up in 15 districts of Odisha, and can potentially generate employment for 50,000+ people.
