This Week’s Policy Focus 🔎
Vamsi Gokaraju writes: With a population of around 1.4 billion, India is an enormous market to capture consumers for corporations around the world. The vast population associated with the onset of digitization has helped conglomerates to gain a majority of the market share, sometimes leaving small businesses struggling.

What is ONDC? + 100% scholarship giveaway to a course on climate change!
Hello,
I am an Environmental Law student working in the field of ‘Climate Change Policy 'and ‘Climate Resilience of Vulnerable Communities’, and I am involved in the field of Conservation since the age of 12. I have been involved in local Advocacy and Community Engagement since 5 years. I have been working with the indigenous tribes to help build waterholes, in conservation initiatives, wildlife census, and with frontline communities for Climate Justice.
I was selected as a ‘Climate Action Champion’ by the US Department of State to represent India on an international forum, and be the voice of Developing and Least Developed nations. I have also been selected by UNICEF as a Youth representative to give recommendations for the current SAPCC of Maharashtra.
Currently, I’m working with the Government of Maharashtra, to devise a Climate-Action plan for Pune. The ‘Youth manifesto of India’ was made by my team to inspire political leadership at every level of governance, and we are working to include Climate Action and Economic resilience in their electoral agenda.
This course will really help me gain an in-depth perspective in Climate policymaking in India. I went through the themes, and they really sound very interesting! The panel of speakers is also very impressive. Thank you for offering such an amazing opportunity!
